This weeks image that was taken this Spring, 2017. Walking around the Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha Wisconsin, I was following some fog that was drifting through the woods. After about an hour the fog cleared and the Sun came out, just enough to light up the tips of the grasses, it really was a fantastic sight and completely unexpected.
It goes to prove that if you want to get images you have to be out trying and have your camera ready. Sitting home saying today sucks for photography gets you no images, luck happens to the proactive who are ready.
I made a copy of this image in Lightroom and processed one normally and one in Topaz Simplify. Using a mask and layers in Photoshop I removed part of the Topaz adjusted image to reveal a more realistic plant in the foreground.
